Spring Flies In

(May 2, 2004)

Every year we wait for the Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks to return from their winter home. The males arrive first and scout for suitable nesting territory. Eventually most of these males will nest elsewhere, but we will have several pairs that will spend the summer here and raise families.
